Long Road · Pomodoro Study Timer
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Long Road is a Pomodoro focus timer: each focus session is one leg of a road trip on Route 66. This policy explains what the app does with your information. It applies to the Long Road app for iPhone, published by Horus Studios (“we”, “us”).
In short: no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your trip stays on your device. The only information that leaves it is what is needed to check your subscription.
We do not receive this data. Deleting the app deletes it.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your name, email address or payment details.
To unlock the app and to restore your subscription, the app checks your purchase with Apple and with our subscription service provider, Adapty (Adapty Tech Inc.). That check uses:
This information is used only to provide and manage your subscription and to understand, in aggregate, how many people see the offer, start trials and subscribe. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold, and it is not linked to your name, email address or Apple Account identity. The app does not collect your advertising identifier (IDFA) and asks Adapty not to store your IP address. See Adapty’s privacy policy.
Long Road contains no ads. It does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and it does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
Long Road does not access your location, camera, microphone, photos or contacts. The towns on the road are part of the game, not your location. The app reads your device’s clock and time zone, on the device, to match the light of the road to your time of day.
On-device data stays until you delete the app. Subscription records kept by Apple and Adapty are retained as long as needed to provide your subscription and to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete the subscription data held by Adapty for your installation by writing to us (see Contact).
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its processing. Because we do not hold your name or email, the easiest way is to write to us from the email address you would like us to reply to, and tell us your request. We will answer within 30 days.
Long Road is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.

These Terms of Use apply to the Long Road app for iPhone, published by Horus Studios (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Long Road you agree to them. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These terms add to it; where they differ, the Standard EULA applies.
Long Road is a focus timer. Each focus session moves your car one leg along Route 66, from Chicago to Santa Monica. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
Do not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law allows it. Do not use the app in a way that breaks the law or interferes with its operation.
The app, its artwork, sounds, text and design are owned by Horus Studios or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Music and other third-party content are used under their licences; credits are listed in the app’s settings. “Route 66” is used to describe the historic road the app’s journey follows; Long Road is not affiliated with or endorsed by any Route 66 association or government body.
Long Road is a timer for focus and breaks. It is not medical or professional advice, and it does not guarantee any result in your work or study. The road in the app is a game: never use Long Road while driving a real vehicle.
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app at any time. We aim to keep the app working, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Horus Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it (and cancelling any subscription). Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms.
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
